Swung around a new spot that looked interesting, just a few yards from my normal colonial site. and pulled up a few more modern items of interest.
pulled up two more of those lipstick case thingies. seems to have been a bunch of hot chicks running around in the woods at one time .
one complete, one just the outer case.
pulled up two spoons, with the bowls badly discoloured .
a brass tent slip 1880`s ( thank you for ID Ron(CA) )
a bunch of brass tent grommets
a think a drain cover.
couple other odds and ends,  a few mason jars.
and a vintage pond`s cream jar.

there was obviously some kind of homestead here post dating my colonial digs.
finding a good spread of age difference in the same location .

BIG SPOON READS :  1881 R Rogers Oneida
SMALL SPOON READS : R&B AI
DRAIN SCREEN READS : Patent : july 20 ,26

thanks for peeking,

Based on the colonial era gun parts, mini round balls, buttons, buckles and other iron objects i have found in the same area, i would have to guess  several eras of military encampments and activity in the area.

or, who know`s maybe it was a colonial era pride festival deep in the woods. Chuckle
