7-2 beach hunt

Spent all day at the beach with my hunting partner/friend. Found a 10K wedding band and real ugly ring possibly silver. I laughed when I found it because it was big and ugly.
We had a great time and even stopped to have a grouper sandwich and a pitcher of beer. Then back to hunting we went. That's when I scooped the ring. I hunted mostly in the water. My friend hunting both wet sand and water. He found a nice looking tungsten ring and a lot more clad. Hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy so good times detecting. Happy hunting.

Tried cleaning the ring and it is still ugly. LOL.

Well done Updown! Sounds like a great outing. And a really nice catch on the wedding ring. Have to agree with you---the big ring is a real honker. I would like to trade places with you today. Here in Virginia the rain is steady and will be most of the day; so no hunting, cookouts, or fireworks.

Anyway, happy 4th to you and the family and all the rest of the forum too.

What a great hunt , life keeps getting in the way of my getting to the beach to hunt and the rain that others are complaining about  keeps going north or south of us.
The ground is hard as a rock , can't dig a plug without killing the grass....
Sometimes ya just gotta live vicariously through others.
Keep making the nice finds and have a safe and happy Forth.
