Got a chance to get out and did pretty good. Highlights are the long rifle butt plate, eagle button and broken piece of maker marked California Bowie knife, also kinna like the old Henry rimfire shells.

Very Cool-- that butt plate looks to be of a old flintlock type rifle. Ties in with the Black Powder Tin Lid you found as well.

Great relics!!

Cool old finds!

Remember when your cup holder sat next to you in a mini skirt and tank top?

Caprock, very cool relics! Very interesting finds! Were they made at a camp or a ghost town or just plain wandering?
Thanks for sharing

BigTony,
this stuff came from an old roadhouse/stage coach stop that I found through researching old maps and overlaying them on new ones

Caprock, just the words "Stagecoach Stop" makes me want to get out and detect!
That must be a fun hunt. I would look for any areas that a passenger might have hidden some loose gold coins!
