Got out for a few minutes today, was able to dig up a cross with a whistle on the end, an old skeleton key
( warded key ) unfortunately it was in three pieces. one more round musket ball, hand full of shell casings and shotgun brass, all ten shotgun ends are different, i usually throw them away, gonna start a collection to see how many different ones i can come up with. couple pieces of British slip ware ( 18th century British pottery )
i may try to brave the heat again later, but its AC and koolaid for the next few hours.

I was able to look up the cross whistle pretty easily, it`s some kind of religious novelty item, not old or worth much. but, still a neat find ...

it`s right at 500 acres completely untouched by any detectors, the parking lot and common trails where never touched based on my finds. colonial era relics on the trails 4-6 inches deep ... ( un detected no doubt EVER ) i have cleaned the trails up pretty well now, so the rest is in the sticks. it has tons of colonial era history as well as civil war era history. it is littered with iron from all ages and some great colonial relics. it is dense woods except for a few over grown paths. and i have only hit four prime patches so far totaling maybe 100 square feet tops ( expanding into the surrounding woods ). i dont think it is possible to do it all...

Did you use the AT Pro to find all that, or the Etrac?

Joe

Got rid of the AT Pro & ACE 250 to help pay for the Etrac, used the Etrac ...
