Common Sense Tip
Quote this message in a reply
Guys, today I DIDN'T use common sense. While hunting with Gerry F, he asked me if I wanted to use some of his sunscreen. I said no because, first, I hate feeling sticky...yuuuuck! Second, I didn't think it was too hot. Big mistake.

My face, neck & arms are burned to a tinder. Talk about a farmers tan, I should change my name to Tex & ride around on a John Deere tractor, lol.

It's gonna start heating up. USE PROTECTION when outdoors. Practice safe sex, er, detecting, gentleman Wink

I spend my entire life at altitudes between 5000 and 8000' where there's less  atmosphere to block the Suns rays and it willeat you up. There's a reason this SW area is 2nd in the world for skin cancer. Australia is no.1. The lotion is fine for arms and neck but I really prefer the stick type for my face and ears. Look for those big chapstiks of sunscreen on sale and keep a couple in your vehicle --they might keep your nose from falling off some dayHappy

No need for me. I've been toasted so many times it doesn't matter anymore. By October I look like I just came back from 6 months in Florida.

Nope. No slamming back on that old thing for sure! You'd flip it. Damn part time HS kids took that whilst spreading mulch. Put it all over the internet. "Here's our bastard boss who makes us work all day .". (Just Kidding.)

And Deathray, yeah me too. I look real close now. We didn't know or care about sun screen back in the day.

Man , that brings back memories. I had the 950 4x4 mid 80's model for 15 years but if I remember right it had the same bucket retro fitted to it. Spent many hours aboard that thing. I don't know what it is about running a tractor all day that makes you sleep so peacefully at night ----maybe it had something to do with the lack of power steeringHappy
