A place where there had been some post-WWII homes, now being reworked, I managed to find a thin sterling silver ring marked with the arrows and U for Uncas Manufacturing and a 1944 Mercury dime.

Nice finds, Nick! 2 silvers any day, is a GOOD day Yes I've hit a handful of tearouts over the years, and, aside from a nice relic piece or two, haven't had much luck with them, aside from lots of iron. I envy you guys who find a tearout, hunt it, and walk away with some great keepers.

I'm ditto Joe on that. I found a few sites but they were so littered with trash it was almost impossible to detect! Great finds for the type of hunt! WTG! Yes Beer
