Guys, I think we're all on the same page, in terms of having a captivating, fun, drawn out type of contest, but as others have stated, these types of promotions require too much legwork and can maybe be viewed as being skewed somehow.

After thinking about it further, while a bit mundane, I believe a contest based off of a state lotto drawing is both easy, and 110% fair & verifiable. Unless we were somehow able to rig the lottery, there is no way anyone can cry foul after a winner is crowned. And everybody has an equal shot at winning, regardless of experience, hunting spots, etc. Additionally...

While I really like the ideas RM and other members suggested, I'm not comfortable with some being forced to sit out, because they need to help assist in the promotion.

So, I think another lotto based contest is the ticket. I'll get something cool up by the weekend Yes

Joe you've built a great site. It's great to see new folks joining. Contest aside. Keep up the great work.

I have 3 best friends. Their names are Ace 350 , AT Pro ,  and a Fisher F 75 but I like people too.

It's a PICK 4 drawing. They have machines that randomly draw 4 balls, each from 0 to 9. So...

You need to choose any number between 0000 to 9999. Whomever comes closest, WITHOUT going over, wins the prize/s.

What is it about this "without going over" crap? Who gives a crap if it's over or under? Is one number over some how less valid than one number under? I've always hated that rule ,,,,,it's discriminatory.

LOL. Well, look at the big wheel on The Price is Right. The contestants need to hit $1, WITHOUT going over, not $1.03, $1.25, etc. I know, life is rough buddy, but them's the rules! Chuckle
