Does Anyone Film Hunts?
Quote this message in a reply
I started aggressively filming my hunts last year. Before then, it was simply too much of a pain to hold a camera or iphone, getting it dirty, set-up, etc. The Mobius makes it a breeze though. Just curious...

If anyone else on here films their hunts, and if so, how do you normally manage filming and hunting at the same time? Also, what do you use for video editing, effects, etc.?

Not yet. I was videoing today at the Monster Jam. I learned a little about how my phone video cam works. I can be filming and then pause it and restart right from where I left off. I'm thinking for diggin videos I can cut the plug then hit record, hold the phone in one hand, and pop the plug with the other. Then all the clips would be connected together and I could just go back and cut out anything I need to. So I'm thinking about it.

What kind of phone do you have, Will? Reason I ask is...

While your option is more than doable, and would put out good results, they make very simple video editing apps for most smartphones nowadays, so...

You would have much more control; moving clips around, titles, changing audio levels, etc. And don't worry, none of it is complicated.

I think any way that works for you is good, as long as it makes you pick up the camera and film, which is the most important Yes

Yeah I'll have to experiment. Here's a sample video from my phone. It's pretty cool. http://youtu.be/q08Z2pUCAi0

My phone is an LG G2

Looks good to me! I went to the Monster Truck Jam here in East Rutherford, it was AWESOME. Did Og like it?

Footage looks crystal clear. I think you've got a winner to film with Yes

I never have and don't plan on it anytime soon. It just takes to much time and trouble for what you get. Just an old guy's opinion.
