Does anyone know about which channel to use?

My Exp II has 11 channels that will change to the best if the Noise cancel is pressed before you start detecting a site.
Well, if this thing broadcasts 28 frequencies at a time and over a certain channel - am I getting the best one for say Gold or deep coins?
I will expierment in the next couple of outings but probably not for a few more days.
I am just wondering if anyone has ever given this any thought.
Manuals don't give much on these type of questions.

I use channel 1. It runs the lowest FBS to ~18.5 Hz. As you go up the scale in channels, the lower the Hz goes. I think that the lowest is 14.75 Hz. Going up in channel # bumps the frequency lower limit down in small increments. Somebody in the UK on youtube (Pondguru???) took a frequency analyzer and analyzed it. I saw it a while back over the winter and decided to hold it at channel 1 for obvious reasons. I don't get much EMF interference where I run so I rarely do a noise cancel unless I accidentally hit the button.

Bob that helps some but he uses five for the channel. I look at it further tonihgt.

ODF, that is what I am thinking - the lower settings might be for gold and higher for deeper coins. My jury is investigating and I am excited to no end if I get good results.
