england gold coin 2016

This is the best picture I have of the 2016 Gold it is a Quarter Stator 10 - 40 AD and it is about the size of my pinky finger nail. Talk about small but it still gave a great signal at 6 inches. The Minelab CTX 3030 just hammers small gold and small silver and also loves the bigger stuff.

Wow, that's tiny! Would it be smaller than a 3 cent piece or about the same size? Its awesome how the ctx3030 performs! Very cool. Congrats again on the beautiful coin

Zach here is a photo of 3 cent and the gold from last year so you can see how small a quarter stator is

I can only dream! Amazing, Steve!!! It's shocking to hear that a Minelab can hit small gold that well...especially that deep...with that pronounced a signal! If I had a unlimited budget for the hobby, I'd surely splurge on a CTX, but other priorities come first. Are most guys over there swinging CTX's? What seems to be THE detector of choice? If I'm not mistaken, I know they were very fond of the Deus' at one point.

Hey Joe I would say it is split 50 /50 with the Minelab CTX 3030 and the Dehus and a few etrac
As for which one does best they all find great targets if you know how to use them all I could figure the CTX was easier to use. The ones I knew with the dehus we questioning there targets . Not me dig everything but no nails

Wow, that's a slightly huge difference! That's awesome. I have a silver denarius from Marc Anthony and Cleopatra I got as a kid(bought) but never knew they got the coins so small! Very cool.
Thanks for the comparison!
