I think that's one of the coolest tokens I've ever seen, and quite odd that's it's for $10, too, as when most tokens were still in use, that was an extraordinary amount of kaching. That thing is in exquisite shape, to boot. Great start, Ed Happy

Thanks everyone. That cool token was from a jewelry store in Litchfield MI that we found at an abandoned house site. Seems if you find three giant pine trees in front of someones house up there, they were veterans of the civil war. There was a lot of junk on this property, and being that it is abandoned it seems some people are using it as a dump site, which is pretty sad as that killed us for real detecting. I did find a 57 or 56 wheat there too, which I gave to my host along with the token for the lead. I got the picture and the experience. That's all I need. My brother went right past it and the memorials with his coinmaster 10 minutes earlier. That shot of the guy bending over is my bro looking for arrowheads.

Wasn't me making it. It was my brother in law. In an old style, coals on the top, dutch oven. Mini potatoes, onions, green peppers, smoked sausage, green beans, all in a garlic brown gravy mix, with fresh biscuits, butter and cold beer. Eat your heart out. I almost did!!!

Went there to have some real fun. They make those cans of beer that you can cap now so you can carry them with you and not spill it and it stays pretty cold. And fits in your finds pouch. So you stay pretty limber and can cover a lot of ground. I tried MRH but he could not make it that weekend. But he has an open invite when I go back up.

ps.. night, night guys. I'll catch up this week.
