Hey CMan! FOMC coming up this week. We can only wait and see. Not a great time to sell gold for sure and probably won't be for a while. Unless you "bought in" a long time ago. If rates go up my opinion is gold will rise. How much I don't know. If rates stay stagnant or level (actually they are below zero in negative territory now) I think gold will continue to stagnate or fall slightly. The problem is that since we got off the gold standard, it became in some people's eyes a "Barbarous Relic" industrial commodity, where other people still held that it is the only true "Money". Nixon screwed the French. The FED is between a Rock and a Hard place. Either way they turn, we're screwed.

Rates go up cost to hold may go up.
Feds held to long with negative rates.
Now were in a slow down mode again. They all love printing Fiat currency.
It takes less room to carry gold then silver.
My age it doesn't matter it's only for the major event collapse.
I will dig it hold it. I will buy metal's at yard sales jewelry, and coins,
We will see what happens shortly as the Globex futures opens up.
Oil looks like headed lower.

Have a Great Day!
Thank you,

You have reached chart porn, you technocrat! Chuckle I, although not unlike your situation, sometimes just take an educated guess, or go with my gut. Carry on!

There was times DX up and gold & silver up. $ dropping at times gold and silver going down as well. The miners taking the brunt of this.

Have a Great Day!
