got out in the woods for a little bit, I was able to locate the water well and part of the foundation to a 1800`s homesite. it appears as if it was occupied or used by people of a few different eras, as there is a lot of coquina brick from the 1500`s up, as well as the 1800`s red brick.
didn`t find to much, tons of very large thick pieces of iron to large to carry .
I was able to dig up a boot heal plate likely 1800`s.
a fancy piece of brass, not sure what it may have been.
a silver fork.
a silver plate spoon ( community plate on back )
another 1880`s tent slip ( thank you again Ron for the  ID )
an odd shaped something.
a piece of a buckle.
and just for S.G. i grabbed a few bottles, there are bottles and mason jars everywhere in the woods
i have dated a few to the mid 1800`s others to the early 1900`s.

The one on the site is civil war era. While not an exact match, it's a pretty close type of plate. I go nuts over sterling silverware, and that fork is fantastic. Love the seal on it. Man, you are kicking ASS Yes
