Hello from Costa Rica
Quote this message in a reply
Hi,
My name is norberto, I live in costa rica and have been metal detecting for about 3 years now. I actually own a whites DFX and a tesoro sand shark. After testing all brands and types of detectors out there I realized that for the local terrain mineralization the whites machines where the ones that worked best.
I have had the whites mxt, mxt pro, DFX, and V3i and I kept the DFX over the other machines because I feel that it is a great detector (probably better than the MXT) but not as complicated as the V3i. I am an all terrain detectorists, coin shooting is fun but I love the relics as well. I don't do nugget hunting.
For the beaches there is nothing that works better than a PI machine in dark sand beaches like the ones that we have in this country.

Anyway hope you made yourself a small idea on my detecting prefferences.
Best to you all...

Welcome, Norberto! You are lucky to live in such a beautiful place! I'm not sure if I'd be more into the women there, or the detecting...too hard to choose, lol.

I used to swing the MXT 300. Whites makes a HELL of a machine...built like tanks Wink

Show us some of that tropical beach booty (silver & gold :tongueHappy!!!
