Just a flat button and a ... 3 cent piece!

Hey all, got out for about a half hour with Cassandra today before we went out to the Amish market.

Before we started I asked her, what do you think we will find today? And she responded with a 3 cent coin! Damn was she right.

She was using the pinpointer and found it around 5-6 inches deep. Pulled it out and said it was a button, but I was looking and noticed it seemed pretty smooth. She then yells ooh look a C! For Cassandra! Haha. So I took a look and knew right away it was a 3 cent piece.

I believe to see a 4 on the coin so that would make it either 1854 or 1864.

The other picture is James finds from Monday from the first day we hit the new permission. He had a large cent, half cent, fatty indian , and a seated quarter among other bullets and buckles.

Enjoy!

Wow, that is very cool. Did you ask her what tonight's lottery numbers are going to be? If not - you should!
Congratulations on those finds and telling how to find a 3 cent piece - that could be the reason why I haven't found one yet - I am using a detector and not my pinpointer.
Congratulations to your very smart partner - she is a keeper for sure!
Best of luck to you both.
Congratulations on all of your finds as well - love that seated quarter!

Thanks guys! Can't wait to get Cassandra her own detector! Her only being in charge of the pinpointer after I find a target with the detector isn't enough anymore. She tries to steal my detector! Tongue
