Hello I was detecting in the Metro Parks This afternoon and Ed pointed me to these forums!. I usually post my finds on Northeast Ohio Metal Detecting Facebook page but it appears this may be a little more active. I'm hitting 48 in Sept and Just started detecting in March of this year since then I have spent to much... I am now using an AT PRO and loving it. I hunt The Emerald Necklace of Cleveland metroparks but am willing to travel all over Ohio to join others in hunts. I hunt about 25-30 hours a week since my stroke early this year it helps me retrain my left side. I hunt water and land so I hope to get and give some good tips and tricks. My detectors since March Silver Bountyhunter,Minelab 40,Delta 4000,Ace400,Treasure Pro I still have, and a week old At Pro.

Thank You Ed for pointing me to these Forums.

It's always good to welcome a new member. We are all happy to have you with us and hope you enjoy your stay. You are fortunate to have already met ED--he will be a great help as you progress with your hunting. But don't hesitate to ask for help from anyone on the site. All are willing mentors. I'm looking forward to seeing your discoveries.

Welcome to the forums. Look forward to hearing your adventures and seeing the treasures. You're lucky to be close enough to hunt with Ed. He seems like a I outstanding guy and a real treasure hunter. He makes a nice bowl of chilly too.
Wishing you luck, and can't wait to see those jewels.

Ed is nice and determined he was eating up the turf in the park I'd move 10 feet he would do 50 feet.

I tend to do alot of trashy urban parks along with the metro ones so I just collect a ton of clad so it just seemed to fit. I use to be netjunky when playing video games but MD has taken the fun out of video games Happy this fall I have access to 3 farms main one is an 1860 1 family farm. Just waiting on the corn to be plowed then I have fields apon fields to check.
