Newest addition added to the CW/CW Era display case I'm putting together. I removed the chain as it was added and not original...

Coming together nicely --- still looking for a couple of harder to find pieces and a few more non dug bullets yet but should be done on sched. (early/mid spring)...

Nice!

Remember when your cup holder sat next to you in a mini skirt and tank top?

Nothing special on the 411 Joe - just another piece I bought to add in the display case with everything else.

My only problem now that I can see is that I don't wanna stop collecting up this stuff and may end up having to find a large display case!

Sweet Flask!!

You may already have this info. I can't see the patent date in your pic. but based on titles we can date that pretty close.

Firm was founded in 1804 as Dixon and Smith.
1830 Title changed to James Dixon and SON

Right on Ron

and from what I understand (could be wrong)

but

that mainly the confederates used these flask

and

that the yankees mainly used the ones with the stars, 2 hands, etc (batty peace flask)

I love that flask!  CW artifacts are completely addicting!
Do you have a photo of the entire display case that you could share?
