If listing with them is free , it could be a good avenue for producing prospects.
If there's a charge then I'm guessing it would be wasted money as most people smart enough to think of using a detector to find their rings , would also be smart enough to figure out there's probably a detecting club near by that would do the same thing for free or a donation to their treasury.

I'm just guessing of course , but I suspect the guy who started it has made more money from the detectorists that listed than he has from find lost rings and things for people. Wink

Volunteer detectorists who I'm sure will accept a donation for a good deed if offered.
I e-mailed ringfinders---$40 to list , 235 detectorists paid so far - that's about $9400 the guy has taken in and I'll bet all 235 haven't taken in that much in finder fees combined.
