Had a 3 hour hunt today at the spot where I found 2 Mercs last week. The moist soil is making the Etrac sound out real sweet on silver. The 1920 Merc was over 7 inches deep. The SLQ and Washington were in the same hole. I love my new used Etrac.

Adding the E-trac to your equipment has really upped your game Gerry. Good to see all those silvers adding up for you. Hard to find a really sharp SLQ because so much of the engraving was very fine and it wore quickly. Yours still shows some detail on the stars, shield and drapery. Nice find.

Hot damn, what a hunt Yes Any time you can find FIVE silvers in one outing in these beat up parks in NJ, it's a royal occasion. I tip my hat to you, sir Beer

What an awesome hunt ! The SLQ is one of my favorite coins and that one looks to be in pretty good shape.

WTG Gerry! Those five silver days are far and few between here! Like Joe says, for you to find that in those parks there is telling you something! GO GET EM!! Yes

I'm also very glad to see you are adapting to the Etrac as well as you are because I'm seriously thinking of going in that direction myself. Fabulous hunt! Keep em' coming!

Great finds, congrats. I only have 2 mercs and 2 Rosie's since the past year. No quarters yet. But a 1843 seated came out of my permission from a buddy. Waiting for the day! Keep it up and happy hunting!

Wow, that is a super-duper hunt. Finding 5 silvers on public land is quite a feat. Congratulations! That is awesome and thanks for sharing. You and that etrac are doing well. I have a good friend that has been using one for years and he loves it too.

Thanks for the nice replies everyone. This is a small (50x250?) area that Joe found and where we found 2 silvers each last week. The moist soil made the coins really sing out and the Etrac was listening to their tunes!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
