Got out this morning with my friend Jim Cash for an early lot hunt before it got hotter than hell. we hit three lots in downtown Vegas, the first two only produced clad and some copper scrap. At the third lot right away i found a 54-d rosie and the hunt was on. soon after Jim pulled a 1905-s barber dime, then i pulled some wheats. by that time it was time to go, on the way back to the car i pulled out a 1911 English sixpence, i also found a large brass ring and two old marbles. the 48-d Rosie was from a lot the other day. thanks for lookin!

Damn, you're kicking ass. How much do you get out per week? How many hours? Gotta hand it to you, very impressive numbers Yes

I'm getting out 3.5 hours a week Joe. This is the 23rd day the high has been over 105 and it's not cooling down at night.

Those are good numbers for only 3.5 hours per week. In the spring & fall I get out a full 2 to 3 days per week, for 5 to 7 hours each. I can't do that in the summer here. The torture in the heat & humidity isn't worth it to me. I know you guys don't have the humidity, but 105 is still damn hot!

Nice haul Leo!! You're getting up in the numbers! What year is that sixpence? (Oops, I see it, 1911!) That one alone makes the hunt a good one! YesBeer
