lower tip of a sword scabbard, unfortunately it was in pieces in the hole, i tried to recover as many of the pieces as i could find.
the next item i hit on was the brass buckle, always nice to pull up another colonial buckle.
then pulled up what appears to be an old brass door knob plate.
few inches over i hit on a rusty blob, no idea what it was till i got it home, it turned out to be a bubble button , first one like that i have found.
then the odd stuff, a few pieces of copper cookware , a large thick round chunk of lead. a bunch of real pretty 18th century British pottery shards.
and some more scrap copper strips, an odd looking square brass piece.
Oh yeah almost forgot .... pulled up a tiny cow bell. the ball rusted out and fell out upon cleaning, but really thought that was a cool find as well .

That`s it for today, i`ll be back at it tmro...
Thanks for peeking ...

and as always Happy Hunting ...

are you being hung up by weather or work ...
think i would go crazy as well if i couldn`t detect for 2 weeks.
heck, i go crazy if i get one rain day ... i could not imagine not detecting for a whole two weeks. just the thought gives me the willies ....
