Here's hoping Rusty and Updown and all our other Florida hunters get through Hurricane Matthew without any trouble or damage. Should be some sand moved around after the storm passes with some good targets easier to find. Good luck guys!

Thanks guys. I'm in the middle of the state so not anticipating no damage unless the 100+ year old oak decide to drop a limb. (Fingers crossed) Yes, to the sand being moved , but it's going to hard to get in there if your not a local. Even thoses folks will have some difficulty.

Mostly because of theives that have looted properties in the past. Have ruined opportunities for us detectorist.

I plan to get to the sand sometime in the near future.

Hope the storm doesn't cause hardship for others, be safe, and God bless.

All of the people affected by Matthew are in my thoughts and prayers, I hope if you were in an evacuation area that you listened and left. I have never experienced a hurricane and some acquaintances who are in the Carolinas scoff at the evacuation orders , I don't get it. You can replace most items , you only get one life.
I hope your oak weathers the storm up down.

As disastrous as Matthew was from the East coast of FL. up thru the Carolinas, we dodged a major bullet here in the NE, as it just missed us by about 150 miles. Hope anyone that was down that way is safe, as that's the only thing that matters. Personal property can be replaced.
