Hey guys went out yesterday couple times between my work schedule,,went back in the woods where i found the pocket watch last week figured would hit it harder. With my disc on 50 with the t2 found this button. About 8 inches down under a root !! ( go figure)     then shorty after about 30 feet away get a sweet signal and pull out this rosette [attachment=7234. On my way out right next to a rock i find this impact deer slug my guess it impacted the rock it was near      thanks for looking HH

Very beautiful button Scott! I can't wait to find a button with a pattern YesYes.

Also, How do you like your T2? Is it the classic or LTD?
I saw the Classics went on sale recently and even come with a big bundle!
Wish I had some extra $$$!

Keep up the nice finds!

GL and HH

Nice button, glad you did not get discouraged with the root.I know sometimes those roots are so tough I have walked away telling myself its a copper penny. However, I will remember you found this nice button under a root and this might keep determined to recover those tough ones. Good job!

Nice button and rosette Scott! Yes I've yet to find a rosette. Those big shotgun slugs are a real kick to dig. I've found them smashed like that one and whole like they just dropped out of the sky. Every time I dig one I'm hoping it's an IH but no such luck.
