Name here is Richard. I live in a small town in the mountains in East Tennessee. I mostly relic hunt but this time of the year because of crops and hay fields I hit some old schools and houses. I look forward to watching the site grow and the information that will be shared.. Best to all, Richard

Hi Richard, glad to have you aboard! Always a pleasure to do business with you and I'm doing great with my safari, best machine I used in years!
Hi all, just joined the forum, I live in Victoria Australia, just outside the golden triangle, so I have both gold and relic hunting at my fingertips. I started off some time ago with a Bounty Hunter, which I still have, and my granddaughter uses when she comes with me. I now have a x-terra 705 with 2 coils the DD and a WOT 15" . Oldest find so far - 1885 token, but still looking. I thought it would be interesting to get into a forum in another country, to see what you find and the problems you face. As an example some of our soil here is highly mineralised, particularly in the gold areas.
Regards, Bruce

Trigon are you a gold hunter? Have you look at the new Minelab? GPZ7000 - the price is as high as a low end automobile

Welcome aboard Bruce. Man you're a long way off. I'm Ed from NE Ohio! We have the same soil problems here too in certain areas. Lot's of iron in my area but some of the fellas have different minerals. Lot of gold hunters here too. I see that Cyclone Marcia missed you. Have a great weekend otherwise and HH!
