I was thinking of getting a bigger shovel to help digging with the TDI. Then I thought I would probably be better off getting a smaller coil. I figured it would be better for target separation and pinpointing. Also easier to learn with. I got me a real beauty. It's a Razorback Miner John 5x9" Folded coil. It's way smaller than the stock 12" DF coil.
Cool, kinda similar to the 6X10 I used to use on my MXT, but a little smaller. That bad boy is going to be SUPERB on separation

You'll actually do better because you'll have to slow down and sniff it out. I've got the Teknetics 5x10 and I can honestly say that after I've hit an area with the Ultimate on my Delta, I swap out to this little guy and find stuff I missed. The little coils really are a God send in trashy areas.
