Been hunting woods last couple of weeks, hard work! Between the bugs n the roots it's an adventure.Sometimes I wonder if its worth it but with woods hunting in an old area you never know!!!!

Yes, it's hard, but, some of my best finds have come from the woods. The time to woods hunt is Spring & Fall. No bugs, vegetation is down & not too hot/humid
Always hunt around the base of the oldest biggest trees in the woods. This is where people go to relieve themselves, for shade, etc. Good possibility of rings, old coins & god only knows what else
