This unicorn found while doing a brief hunt on a beach.
there are no stampings on it so I don't know if it is silver or some other metal or combination therein. depth was around 4 - 5"
Always test everything...appearances can sometimes be deceiving! I've dug coins/jewelry items before that I swore weren't silver or gold, and they were. Nice unicorn!!! Did you find it in the wet, or the dry?

dry sand in a very trashy area. well above the high tide mark ( can't see it being lost this year as that was one of the few "warmer days" that we had, had at the time and the beaches are usually fairly deserted until our may 24 weekend ( this year 1 week prior to your memorial day).

Yes rock, nice find. I bought a test kit with two rub stones and it's the way to go if you don't have a trusted jeweler to go to.
