I've heard that the underground railroad came through here too.

That's cool. There are actually buildings down the road from my house not even ten miles away that have tunnels connecting them that go under the road and everything. One building was an old general store, one I am not sure what it was but is now currently a bar, and another is this huge old house. Anyway, point is the tunnels connecting them are known parts of the Underground Railroad. It's cool stuff.
