The wire on my Koss headphones broke inside the molded black rubber around the jack, so I cut it off and solder a new jack on . Out the other day and was talking with another guy that had the same problem .He said to call minelab and tell them about it because it is still under warranty. So I called on Wednesday and told the women my problem. Today UPS dropped of a new set from Minelab headphones NO charge! So anyone with a problem should check their warranty. THANKS MINELAB
What model ML do you have, Bob? Didn't know any of the ML's came with headphones, aside from the CTX's. Unless of course, you're getting a package deal from a dealer, and they normally throw in some headphones.
Not surprised ML did good by you, but, just by how QUICK they were! ML isn't exactly known for speedy service, lol.

Joe, I have a E-Trac the headphones are Koss UR-30 came with the machine .
I've got the Koss UR 30's too for my SE Pro but it's a used machine. The plug connector is getting brittle and the earmuff pads are flaking off the plastic. I have a backup pair of Koss UR-20's I bought off Amazon for my Delta and they have the same frequency range so I'm covered for now. That's nice to know that Minelab is covering them.

Wow, compared to what I have been hearing that they take their sweet time in responding or doing any repairs you either were speaking with a new hire or they are changing their policies regarding warranty issues.
