Another 1937 Merc popped out at 7 inches today with the same iffy signals I had on the # 16 yesterday and only a squeaky and dancing 4-29 VID. St. Christopher Visor clip was a real surprise. I also found a small crack pipe but I tossed in the dumpster here at home as getting caught with one leaves quite a bit of explanation to inquisitive minds. It wasn't gold plated so I don't care. That iron nugget is just an example of the many I find here. It's a real fooler on the SE, even with iron mask turned halfway up. 2 wheats, one of which was my first dig right out of the truck. Kinda got me pumped right from the get go. That's the second 1937 Merc I've popped as the first was #9 on 7-13-14. I'm 3 for 3 for August with a pop out average of 100% per day. I hope my luck holds out!!
