On sat. My friend Mike P. From AZ came up and we hit a few lots in downtown Vegas. I pulled 9 wheats, one i had never found before,31-d,4 silver dimes and a token from one of the first casinos in vegas called the pasture.early 30s. Las Vegas means fertile pasture. Then on sunday my friend Jeff and i hit some more lots in downtown Vegas and i pulled 13 wheats,5 silver dimes, a war nickel,a 84 dog tag, catholic charm,47 nickel and a mississippi tax token. Bringing me up to 71 silver coins FTY. Thanks for lookin!
Awesome Leo.  Downtown is as good as the strip huh.  I wish I could hunt downtown here.
Wow, nice couple hunts.
Are there many detectorist in the Vegas area?? Seems like it would be a great place to find common silver, for obvious reasons. Nice going!
Congrats on your keeper!!  Cool token!
Nice hunts.  Congrats on all the silver and those nice tokens.
That was a good weekend!!! Wow on the token and that 31D. Like the war nickel too! Any more plans to go to the desert?

The ground out here is hard and rocky,my friend jeff has been telling me there was alot of detectorists in the late 90s and early 2000s, but not many now. I am planning on going into AZ in about a month and a half and hit some of the old ghost towns and railroad steam stops with Ratman and Minelab Mike. Can't wait. Thanks guys. The last two months out here has been hell, too hot and i was broke as a joke. It's starting to cool down and now im not broke - just poor.
Good to hear!! I'm poor too, but rich in spirit. That's all that counts. Detect on my friend!

Dude, you're kicking ass on the silver! I'm in love with that token, though!!! The only tokens I ever seem to find are smaller ones, and usually normally beat to shreds. Gotta hand it to you, as you're pulling out a lot of older coins, in what I always assumed wouldn't be a great place to hunt, due to the place not being that old, but, you obviously proved my assumption wrong. Never assume Happy
