Well, I'm not a minelab guy, but I have been playing with stereo mixed mode on my V3i. All metal and disc at the same time. Combined with the 5 band filter, slower sweep speed, and a few other tweaks, you really start seeing the deeper goodies. Of course at 9+ inches the vdi is off as well as the analyze display but sure is alot of fun
