Nothing to special today, managed to get out for an hour or so.
pulled up another colonial era thimble. this one is split down the side.
but still quite happy , i really enjoy finding the thimbles. think i have found 5 or 6 now. so another one for the collection ...
also was able to pop out another tiny flat button. backmark reads " double Gilt "
and one more dropped round ball.
the rest is just odd stuff, few more pieces of copper . a very large lead sinker.
some camp lead, few modern shell casings and shotgun shell caps.
(  last photo my past 2 months thimble finds ) same site ...

What is the oldest map you've looked at of your hunting spot?
