just wanted to share a pic of the necklace i wear.
It is the 100 union George T Morgans lost masterpiece
proposed design 1876, struck if i recall in 2005.
i picked up 10 of them when they first came out.
sawed one out of its capsule took it downtown to
one of our local silversmiths, and he hand made the custom 925 silver biker chain
the chain is sized to scale of a real motorcycle chain .
and a local gold and coin seller made the gold ring to hold the coin
and took a wedding band cut it and flip half in reverse so it would ride smoothly
on the chain ...  as you can see the gold is starting to wear through on the
wedding band loop, need to get that repaired soon ...
it weighs a ton on the neck. but sure grabs some questions when i wear it ...

it is quite heavy, that was the plan .
i wanted something custom designed and one of a kind .
maybe when im much older and on my last legs, i`ll go nail it to a tree deep in the woods. it will remain there until found many years from then ... maybe centuries who knows . i love doing things like that ...
