not sure what it is, about 7-8 inches long . hollow. has a piece of wood stuck
possibly the spout to a tea pot .

only got out for an hour today, daughter coming to visit.
took me 20 minutes to get it from under a root.
so not much in the finds area for the day ...
darned thing put a good little nick in my forfinger extracting it.

I think you may be right Ron , that was actually my first guess, ... i think there is another part to it about a foot over i have to work from under the root, i will try and get it up in the next couple days, that should give a positive id. it has the exact same id signal. as this item.
my first guess was a spout to something, but what threw me off was the wood plug in the small end has an opening .

that`s just a tease to an Englishman, found a tea pot and didn`t even get a drop of tea.
I can always hope they hid their gold in a tea pot.
