All depends on where you are hunting. Sniping bedrock - probably the small 5" coil. If looking for a patch on a hillside maybe the stock 11"
Just gotta use the right coil for the situation.

If you want one all around coil,get the 5x10. Its hot on the tip and fits into crevices better than the hockey puck,plus you can cover more gtound. I do like the hockey puck to though, never used the 11 inch dince I actually have a gb pro,not g2.

Ray is correct, the 5 x 10 is a great coil. I forgot about that one and I even had one on my goldbug.
