Just fooling around with some old relics and thought I'd post these finds from a very good day in the Gold County Throw back to circa 1979.
Great finds Cap.  1979?  I was 3 years old.
Very cool relics, 79 was in first grade. Oh to be that young and carefree again. Times sure have changed.
Love the locks and the skeleton key Yes

79?

I was 16 and had 2 yrs detecting with my cheapo 1 knob Garrett machine under the belt at that time!

Hey Cap, I like that scale alot!!  What is the big piece on the top right?
Do you still detect? Feel free to get nostalgic and post more pics of finds,I love it. Ray
Ray,
The item on upper right is a candle stick holder, yea just getting back into detecting after a very long time away from it-love the gold rush sites. Glad you enjoyed the pic, I'll see what else I can "dig up" from the past and hopefully future! All the stuff in the photo was found with a White's Coinmaster IV,that still works.
Fun to pull out the pile and look at all the goodies again!!

Nice finds!!
Wow, Cap, awesome pieces!!! Beautiful skeleton key Yes
