Hi all, Dose anyone any way to hip mount a Whites 6000 Di Pro? I have one that is almost new, and had to have a metal plate in my neck and have not been able to carry it over 30 mins.. I would like to use it again, if not i may sell it. Thanks Dean

that 6000 DI pro is a beast of a detector.
not sure if it would work for you or not. i have seen several harnesses for detectors.
but if those don`t work not sure if this will either., at homedepot they have shoulder hanging tool harnesses they are designed for carrying a good bit of weight and would transfer the weight to the shoulders maybe one of those could be set up to support the DI if that wouldn`t bother the neck.
or a better option may be one of these, it is a harness for supporting a heavy weedeater. and would allow free swing of the detector.
and they can be very quickly released to put the detector down .

with a swingy thingy ( bungee harness )
