Gil & I are retooling some of the forum software. When updating the system, there were several features which were DEFAULT settings. One of them being notifications. This is a feature that notifies a member via email whenever there is activity in a thread you posted in. It serves as a reminder that the thread has been updated.
In the event you wish to NOT receive notifications on threads, simply go to the user control panel, and click on the "Thread Subscriptions" link. You will see a listing of all the threads you posted in, and will receive notifications on. Next, click the check box/es of the thread you'd like to turn off, then select "Change to No Notification" via the drop-down menu.
Notifications are REALLY helpful, but, not everyone may wish to receive an instant alert. If you're one of them, follow the steps above
