I had a pretty good day at one of my favorite old parks. I found my first 3 cent silver (1857), a gold ring, and a Connecticut copper.
nice ...
Sweet finds.
Nice 3 center doug!! Hefty ring there too! Nice hunt. I got squat except for clad and a plastic grocery bag full of modern pennies (totaling $1.24) the last three days so you're brightening my Sunday evening!!Yes

Ed
Looks like a great hunt that 3 cent silver is nice, the ring is a chunk and the copper would be welcome in my book on any hunt.
from a park?? Awesome!
I have to make a correction.. the copper coin is actually a British half penny. I can't make out the date. Sorry for the ID error.
Great scores! Congrats!
Doug you are on a Roll with a lot of nice finds. Nice three cent piece.
Doug? You think George II on that half penny? Looks real close. If you clean it repost so we can get a better look. That's about 1720. There abouts.
