Full Version: Pewter button, 1715 - 1783 Brown Bess muzzle loader side plate.

pewter button with a semi fancy front, back loop still attached.
brass side plate to a 1715 - 1783 Brown Bess muzzle loader.
has a small FI stamped into it.
a few other odd items,
and a paper thin very toasted memorial cent off the trail home ..

Ed, think i have almost all the brass parts to a 1700`s Brown bess now. gonna have to hit some of the iron and chase down the other parts.

That would be really cool man. That one guy you linked us to could put it all together unless you'd want to do it yourself. Think of it, all the shiny pieces from finds in one operating rifle. That's the shit man!!

you know i never thought of that, i have the original 1700`s brass, but would need new wood and iron parts.. that would be pretty sweet.

here are a few of the larger pieces, i also have the jaw screw and a few smaller pieces.
a few pieces are broken though and would need repaired or replaced.
