Hey Cap,
I have several of those items and then I saw one posted on this forum as well. I used the pictures off this forum trying to get a positive ID.
I don't see the part in your diagram.
I have a couple thoughts on what it could be but trying to get a positive ID with documentation.
We find these in 1850-1880 sites.
hate it when I can't get a positive ID on an item.

I knew it wasn't a lamp part and thought maybe a pulley (window sash or something like that) but I can't get a positive visual ID.
