Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have sold any of your silver? If so how did it go? I've heard of guys selling their silver for a new detector? Must have been a tremendous amount?

I haven't sold any of mine as yet. It's best to check Kitco or NASDAQ spot silver prices first.
And to check around to some of your coin dealers in the area.
What you want to know from them is at what price "Below" spot do they pay.
Michigan Relic Hunter here on the forum has many years of coin dealing and I'm sure he can input some more professional comments.
Silver is down a lot right now, a touch under $18 and ounce. I'd hold onto it until it goes up more. ($25 to 30)

I sold a Sterns Brother Pool Hall Albuquerque N.M. trade token I found. Was the only one known like it at the time. In poor shape I got $330 out of it and bought a Garrett 450 with the money. Wow that was 17 years ago.
