I live in the county where the first gold in the US was discovered. I really enjoy it and was wondering if anyone else prospects?

But have found gold with the CTX, Fisher Gold Bug Pro and the Deus.

I will be waiting to see the results and not sure I can justify that expense. It will take me my entire life to find enough gold to justify that!!
Nope. Any gold in Ohio is located in the placer streams NE of Columbus and it's all private land and claims. You have to "Pay to Play" so I never attempted it.
Yah, I was thinking 7-10k. I don't know hobbyist who would spend that much!
