Besides Google Earth and google maps are there any other online resources to use when looking for old places to metal detect?
Possibly Plat maps or something like that to look at?

Historic Aerials works best by entering the zip code in the search bar.
You'll probably find yourself spending days looking at these. I know I do.

Looks like ED covered them all. Might try your library, they usually have a local history section.
