Full Version: Another Washington, old magnifer,token and car thingy

[attachment=5492][attachment=5493]Hit the park with Joe Tuesday. Got another Washington a neat old folded magnifier ( the glass was inside the holder when I found it) with a nice design on it. Looks like brass. An old car charm or something that might be a prize in a crackerjack box and an old trade token. The token says "Fidelity Trust Company" Largest in the state" "pays interest on deposits" "open your account now". The other side shows a "pilgrim" and "1668-1916". Also got 9 wheats.
I made the mistake of showing my wife the 1941 Washington and now she wants it. She was born in 1941 and said "this will be my good luck charm"! Gotta keep the boss happy I quess! Gerry

Yes, GOTTA keep the boss happy Yes You're on a roll! The magnifier is a killer piece. And to have found it WITH the glass still intact is amazing after all these years.

That token is worth about 65 cents. Can't retire on that! Oh wait, I AM retired! Gerry
I don't know if he has opened his account at fidelity yet be he is sure showing you how to take it to the Bank. LOL
