Thought I'd post a find that I got a couple years ago. Its an old RR lock from the A&GW railroad (Atlantic & Great Western). The info on the back says

T. Slaight
Pat. Oct. 14 1851
Newark, NJ

I dont know much about RR locks, but some people have said when I originally posted about it that they are somewhat rare. If any of you might know a little more, that'd be cool
I don't know much about locks either but it is a very cool find.
Very nice lock!! Congrats!!
Real Nice Find!!! Love those old RR Locks!
Beautiful lock!!! Did you find that in the woods? I'm not too far from Newark. It was once a large manufacturing hub, mostly employing first generation immigrants from Poland, Italy, Ireland, etc. There were MANY goods made here, and the Newark stamp is quite common on relic type pieces throughout the northeast.

I'll do a google search for you on the lock, and pop back in if I find anything. Again, terrific find Yes
