I need some suggestions for modifying the shaft of the Tiger Shark for underwater use. Does anybody have any suggestions??
Thanks, Rick
Well, it's waterproof so no worries there about wading or using it underwater.

For diving, I would think you would just need to get another lower rod and shorten it so you can bring the coil as far up to the middle section as possible.

That would make it easy to dive with.

Not sure you can get the tightening collars off.  But if you can, then you could also trim the upper section a little and drill new clip holes.  Reattach the tightening collar and that would shave a few inches off as well.

You could also shorten the middle section as well.  All dependent on how those collars work.

Or just cut it off and use one of these.

Or just buy a Garrett Ace Shaft assembly and butcher it up to make it work.  No lock collars on them.

Just throwing out an ideas for consideration.
Great ideas! Thanks, Rick
