Went to the AMRA outing. Not really into sluicing and such for gold, so took off for awhile, and explored another claim. Found a cabin site, and gave it a swing. Probably from a depression era miner. Found a nickel.

I'd be happy with that nickel! For some odd reason, even though they aren't super rare or anything, we don't find many V's or Shield's around here, and we're pretty stoked when they come up. One would think we'd find MORE of them, as most hunters don't dig many nickel signals, but we don't. If I found 3 or 4 V's or Shield's per year, that's pretty darn good. Nice pull
