Beautiful day here, in the 60's with little sun. Real nice steady wind to keep the skeeters busy! Got out for three hours to that spot I hit that coin spill yesterday and expanded my search. Wound up finding an old wheat. Nothing else there though. Well, some bullets and such. Then worked my way back to the truck and hit the Merc about 2 feet from the trail and halfway back to the truck. I've been up and down that trail 20 times but never seriously detected it. Guess I'll have to change some tactics.
